One year ago I made the commitment to upload a hoop dance tutorial every week and share it with you. This is what happened…

Since then I have shared over 65 tutorials, had guest STARS like the incredible Lisa Lottie and Ngaire, worn many different leggings, made some cringe worthy mistakes, spent countless hours filming, editing and creating the videos. Most importantly though I have had the chance to hear from and connect with hoopers all over the planet sharing their improvements, strength and achievements.

So thank you, with all of my heart. It has been quite a year, hard to believe it has only been twelve months. I have so much more to share and we are definitely going to continue the weekly tutorials.

Sending a massive thank you also to my husband Masao, I could never have done any of this without him. As a team we work like a machine, often shooting, editing, writing, emailing, replying and creating until 2 or 3am to get everything sorted and on time. It has definitely been a year of commitment and hard work but so fun and creative we are excited to share more with you and amp up the fun a little more in 2014.

So this week I am adding a part 2 to the How to Hula Hoop for Total Beginners, going back to the roots. If you are struggling with your waist hooping or you have a friend that you know will really benefit from the connection and joy that hoops bring then this is for you/them – WITH LOVE!
