You will need:

– 1 cup of coconut water (low in calories, naturally fat-free, cholesterol free, more potassium than four bananas, and super hydrating)
– 1 tbs of ground flaxseed (flaxseed have antioxidants which may contribute to protection against cancer & heart disease – research these sensational lil seeds)
– 1 tbs of fresh ginger (ginger is an Ayurvedic medicine known to bring relief to muscle and joint pain)
– 1/4 cup of almond milk (almond milk contains 30% of our recommended daily value of calcium and 25% of Vitamin D)

    What else other than bananas can go into this smoothie? I have an allergy to bananas which cause a fast and uncomfortable reaction and it seems to be the ingredient the most thickening for this smoothie.

    Also is the fresh ginger ground ginger?
