This week’s hoop dance warm up or workout is choreographed to Hey Mama by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj. Totally rock this one out, try it a few times to get used to the choreo and then use it for your home hoop workouts or in your next hoop class!

Leg Stretches for Hoopers, Dancers and Groovers

Is there anything better than a deep, relaxing stretch? OK perhaps a long soak in a divine hot tub. But back to stretching, ahhh the joys. Yet how often do we wrap up a hoop session and forget the stretches?

This week I share with you 5 of my favourite leg releases that you can use before or after your hoop practice. I prefer to do some soft, dynamic warm ups before hooping and stretch after. It is like giving my muscles a warm hug!

These stretches go great with a big glass of fresh water and a smile! Celebrate your body.
